Restaurant Receptionist jobs in Dubai

Responsibilities:

1. Guest Relations & Experience:

• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, ensuring a welcoming introduction.
• Handle guest inquiries regarding the restaurant offerings and reservation availability with accuracy and courtesy.
• Maintain a presence at the front-of-house and proactively engage with guests to enhance their overall dining experience.
• Address minor guest concerns with discretion and escalate major issues to the Manager as per SOPs.

2. Reservation & Table Management:

• Manage reservations using digital systems if applicable and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate walk-in guest seating based on table availability and guest preferences.
• Update and manage the table layout plan, ensuring optimal seating arrangements and table turnover.
• Communicate wait times accurately and offer appropriate alternatives when necessary.

3. Coordination & Communication:

• Liaise effectively with the service and kitchen teams to ensure seamless guest seating and service flow.
• Prepare daily reservation reports and VIP guest listings for internal team briefings.
• Support special event seating coordination in alignment with restaurant management and marketing teams.

4. Administrative & Compliance Duties:

• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene standards set by Local Authorities.
• Maintain guest records and contact details in compliance with Local data protection laws and company privacy policies.
• Support sustainability initiatives in line with Dubai Sustainable Tourism guidelines.

Requirements:

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, especially in handling VIP clientele.
• Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-paced, premium hospitality environment.
• Professional grooming and personal presentation, aligned with luxury brand standards.
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to interact with guests from diverse international backgrounds.
• Tech-savviness with proficiency in reservation systems and basic office software.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues diplomatically.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

1. Education:

• Diploma or certification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field is preferred.

2. Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury or fine-dining restaurant, lounge, or 5-star hotel.
• Prior experience working in Dubai or the GCC region is an advantage.

3. Language Requirements:

• Fluency in English is mandatory. Additional languages are highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
