Document Controller (Fit-Out Experience)

Location: Sharjah, UAE
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: AED 4,000 – AED 6,000 per month (Based on qualifications and experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a well-organized Document Controller with experience in interior fit-out projects to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, ensuring accurate document control, and maintaining efficient document flow between departments, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, organize, and maintain all project documents and records.
• Prepare, receive, distribute, and archive project documentation.
• Maintain document registers and ensure all records are up to date.
• Control revisions and ensure only the latest approved documents are circulated.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Track submissions, approvals, RFIs, shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company document control procedures and project requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all project documentation.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a Document Controller.
• Experience in Interior Fit-Out projects is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with document management systems is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in the UAE or GCC is preferred.

• AED 4,000 – AED 6,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
