Junior Accountant (Fresher)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant. This position is ideal for fresh graduates who are looking to start their career in accounting and gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in handling day-to-day accounting and financial activities.
• Support senior accountants with bookkeeping and general ledger postings.
• Prepare and process invoices, vouchers, payment requests, and journal entries.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and proper filing of accounting documents.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules, supporting documents, and audit-related requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
• Perform data entry and maintain accounting records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide administrative and accounting support as required by the finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
