A fishmonger is responsible for the preparation, sale, and display of fish and seafood products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Excellent knife skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including utensils and equipment.
  • Advise customers on the best fish selections and sushi options based on taste and preferences.
  • Stay updated on seafood trends and maintain knowledge of seasonal fish.
  • Monitor stock levels, reorder seafood, and minimize waste.
