What You Will Do:

Perform inspection, repair, modification and overhaul of components I.A.W. Technical Data.

Complete all regulatory training.

Participate in shop and facility Continuous Improvement activities and initiatives.

Participate in shop audits as scheduled.

Perform area cleaning and maintenance as required.

Adhere to shop rules, safety requirements, and regulations.

Demonstrate knowledge of EHS risks and impacts of work activities and the benefits of improving EHS performance.

Ad hoc tasks, as required or as assigned.

Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership appraised of work progress and difficulties as they arise.

Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.

Qualifications You Must Have *

High School Diploma or Technical Diploma

Fluent in English.

1-year hands-on experience in performing related activity preferably in an MRO shop.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma or Degree

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.]

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
