Friendly Early Childhood Center in Dubai is looking for a passionate, caring, and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our growing team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who enjoys working with young children and wants to be part of a friendly, supportive, and dynamic early years environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous nursery or school experience, a warm and empathetic personality, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field, or CACHE Level 2 or above
• Relevant qualification must be fully attested in the UAE and country of origin
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children in a nursery or early childhood setting
• Experience working with different age groups
• Previous UAE nursery/school experience is an advantage
• Good understanding of early childhood development and best practices
• Knowledge or practical experience of the British EYFS Framework is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to create a safe, positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Patience, flexibility, and adaptability
• Genuine passion for working with young children
• Understanding and respect for UAE cultural values and a diverse, multicultural environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, healthy, caring, and stimulating environment for children
• Ensure children are happy, supported, and well supervised throughout the day
• Support children's learning and development through play and age-appropriate activities
• Assist the Class Teacher with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom organisation
• Encourage children's development through stories, songs, games, art, music, movement, and imaginative play
• Support children's physical, social, emotional, language, and communication development
• Engage and support all children, including those who may have additional, sensory, or individual learning needs
• Observe children's development and support teachers with observations and next steps
• Work closely with the Class Teacher, Supervisor, and other members of the team
• Supervise children during group activities, sports activities, events, and field trips
• Help prepare the classroom before the start of the day and ensure it remains clean, organised, and safe
• Support children during transitions, mealtimes, outdoor play, and daily routines
• In the absence of the Supervisor, support and supervise children's play and learning activities
• Contribute positively to a collaborative and professional team environment
