1. Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operations of Fu chcun Trading LLC, ensuring the efficient receiving, storage, handling, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods. The role involves supervising warehouse staff, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock control, and coordinating with the purchasing, sales, and logistics departments to support smooth business operations.

The successful candidate must have strong organizational and leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse environment.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Warehouse Operations

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
• Ensure all incoming goods are checked against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
• Verify the quantity, quality, and condition of received and dispatched products.
• Ensure goods are stored in the correct locations and handled properly to prevent damage.
• Maintain an organized warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and easy stock identification.

B. Inventory and Stock Control

• Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and periodic inventory audits.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies, shortages, damages, and missing items.
• Coordinate with the purchasing and sales departments regarding stock availability and replenishment requirements.
• Ensure proper stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out), where applicable.
• Update inventory records in the company's ERP system or inventory management software.

C. Staff Supervision

• Assign daily duties to warehouse staff, helpers, pickers, and forklift operators.
• Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and work performance.
• Provide guidance and training to warehouse employees on operational procedures.
• Ensure all staff follow company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety requirements.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, accountability, and efficient working practices.

D. Order Preparation and Dispatch

• Coordinate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, labeled, and dispatched accurately.
• Check delivery documents and ensure the correct goods are loaded for delivery.
• Coordinate with drivers and transport personnel for timely deliveries and collections.
• Report delivery delays, incorrect shipments, damaged goods, and other operational issues.

E. Health, Safety, and Security

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse at all times.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of goods, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor compliance with warehouse safety procedures and applicable UAE requirements.
• Ensure emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and access routes remain clear.
• Report workplace accidents, unsafe conditions, and damaged equipment immediately.
• Control warehouse access and help prevent theft, loss, and unauthorized movement of stock.

F. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of goods received, goods issued, transfers, returns, and damaged stock.
• Prepare daily or weekly reports on inventory, dispatches, warehouse activities, and staff performance.
• Ensure delivery notes, goods receipt notes, stock transfer documents, and other warehouse records are properly maintained.
• Report stock shortages, slow-moving items, and operational problems to management.
• Support management during stock audits and internal inspections.

3. Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; a relevant warehouse or logistics qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics supervision.
• Previous experience supervising warehouse staff.
• Knowledge of stock management, receiving, dispatching, and inventory reconciliation.
• Experience using MS Excel and warehouse management or ERP software.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• A valid UAE forklift operator license is an advantage where the role requires forklift operation.

6. General Responsibilities

The Warehouse Supervisor must perform duties in accordance with Fu chcun Trading LLC's policies, operational procedures, and applicable UAE laws and regulations. The employee is expected to maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, report operational issues promptly, and perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
