Cashier – Restaurant

Location: Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience handling cash and POS transactions, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
  • Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change when required.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and prepare end-of-shift reports.
  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve payment-related concerns professionally.
  • Follow company policies, cash handling procedures, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a restaurant cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic mathematical and computer skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
