Head Barista

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Barista who has deep knowledge of coffee, understands flavor profiles, and can create unique, high-quality beverages. The ideal candidate is creative, customer-focused, and capable of leading a barista team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and specialty drinks with consistency
• Develop and introduce new signature beverages (hot & cold)
• Understand coffee origins, roasting levels, and flavor profiles
• Train and supervise baristas to maintain excellent standards
• Ensure proper calibration of espresso machines and grinders
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the coffee station
• Monitor stock levels and manage coffee-related inventory
• Engage with customers and enhance their experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years experience as a barista (preferably in specialty coffee)
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and brewing methods
• Ability to create innovative drinks and recipes
• Leadership and team management skills
• Passion for coffee and customer service
• Experience in UAE/GCC is a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Latte art expertise
• Experience with manual brewing (V60, Chemex, Aeropress)
• Knowledge of coffee cupping and tasting
• Ability to design seasonal menus
