About the Role

OVO Luxury Signature is looking for an experienced Master Cutter with strong expertise in luxury fashion and garment production. The ideal candidate must have excellent pattern interpretation, fabric utilization, and precision cutting skills to ensure high-quality production standards. The role requires close collaboration with designers, pattern makers, and the production team to deliver premium garments on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret patterns, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Prepare fabric layouts and perform precise fabric cutting for production.
• Calculate fabric consumption and minimize material wastage.
• Ensure all cut pieces match approved patterns and measurements.
• Coordinate with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams to maintain quality standards.
• Identify and resolve cutting-related issues before production begins.
• Maintain consistency in garment sizing and fitting requirements.
• Monitor fabric quality before cutting and report any defects.
• Organize and label cut components for efficient production flow.
• Follow production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized cutting area.
• Support urgent production requirements and work overtime when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Master Cutter in fashion, garment manufacturing, or luxury apparel.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and cutting techniques.
• Experience handling luxury fabrics and high-end garments.
• Ability to read and understand patterns, markers, and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in luxury fashion brands or high-end garment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of marker planning and fabric consumption optimization.
• Experience working with evening wear, couture, abayas, dresses, or premium garments is an advantage.
