Role Description

The Senior HR Analyst is responsible for leading HR data analytics, payroll governance, workforce reporting, HR operations excellence, and process optimization. This role serves as a strategic partner to HR leadership, Finance, and business stakeholders by providing actionable workforce insights, ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance, and driving operational efficiency across the employee lifecycle.

The role combines advanced analytical capabilities with deep expertise in payroll administration, HR operations, HRIS systems, workforce planning, compliance, and process improvement. The incumbent is expected to identify trends, mitigate risks, support decision-making, and enhance organizational effectiveness through data-driven HR practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesHR Analytics & Workforce IntelligenceWorkforce Analytics

  • Develop and maintain workforce analytics dashboards and executive reports.
  • Analyze workforce trends, including headcount, turnover, retention, absenteeism, productivity, diversity, and workforce costs.
  • Deliver predictive and descriptive analytics to support strategic workforce planning.
  • Conduct trend analysis to identify organizational risks and opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations to HR leadership based on data insights.

HR Reporting & Dashboard Development

  • Design and automate HR dashboards and KPI scorecards.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual workforce reports for senior management.
  • Develop executive-level presentations and board reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data used for decision-making.

Strategic Analytics

  • Support workforce planning initiatives through scenario modeling and forecasting.
  • Analyze compensation, payroll, and benefits data to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of HR programs through measurable outcomes.
  • Conduct organizational effectiveness and productivity analyses.

Payroll Management & GovernancePayroll Administration

  • Lead end-to-end payroll processing activities ensuring timely and accurate salary payments.
  • Oversee payroll activities across multiple entities, locations, and employee populations.
  • Validate payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and final settlements.
  • Review payroll variances and perform payroll reconciliations.

Payroll Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, social insurance requirements, and company policies.
  • Maintain payroll controls and governance frameworks.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll.
  • Identify payroll risks and implement corrective actions.

Payroll Analytics

  • Develop payroll metrics and exception reporting.
  • Monitor payroll accuracy, payroll cost trends, and processing efficiency.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for payroll discrepancies.
  • Produce payroll forecasting and budgeting reports.

HR Operations ManagementEmployee Lifecycle Administration

  • Manage operational processes related to:
  • Onboarding
  • Employee transfers

  • Organizational changes
  • Leave management

  • Final settlements

HR Process Excellence

  • Standardize and optimize HR operational processes.
  • Develop and maintain HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and governance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR operations.

Service Delivery

  • Monitor HR service quality and employee experience.
  • Manage HR service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Support complex employee relations and operational escalations.
  • Act as an escalation point for payroll and HR operations issues.

HR Systems & Data ManagementHRIS Administration

  • Maintain employee master data integrity across HR systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and system vendors on enhancements and integrations.
  • Support HRIS implementations, upgrades, testing, and process automation.
  • Ensure data security, confidentiality, and compliance.

Data Governance

  • Establish data quality standards and controls.
  • Conduct periodic audits of HR and payroll data.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational data governance policies.
  • Monitor data accuracy across integrated HR systems.

Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Lead HR digital transformation and automation initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification and efficiency improvements.
  • Implement workflow automation and reporting enhancements.
  • Participate in HR transformation projects and system implementations.
  • Support organizational restructuring and workforce optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in HR Analytics, Payroll, HR Operations, or Workforce Planning.
  • Strong experience managing complex payroll processes and HR operations.
  • Experience in multinational and high-volume workforce environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR metrics and workforce analytics.
