Job Title: Steel Fabricator (1 Position)
Steel Fabricator – Scrap & Demolition Support
Job Summary:
To perform fabrication, modification, and reinforcement of steel structures, temporary supports, and demolition aids to ensure safe and efficient dismantling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Fabricate and assemble steel structures (frames, supports, platforms if required)
•
Modify scrap components for safe lifting and transport
•
Prepare temporary supports for controlled demolition activities
•
Perform cutting, grinding, welding, and fitting works
•
Read and interpret basic fabrication drawings and sketches
•
Ensure structural integrity of fabricated items before use
•
Support site team in developing safe demolition sequences
•
Maintain tools and fabrication equipment
Requirements:
•
Minimum 3–5 years experience in steel fabrication
•
Skilled in welding (Arc/MIG preferred)
•
Ability to read drawings and measurements accurately
•
Experience in heavy industry, demolition, or construction is preferred
HSE Requirements:
•
Certified welder (preferred)
•
Knowledge of hot work procedures and permits
•
Awareness of structural safety during fabrication and dismantling
Full compliance with PPE and site HSE requirements
