Position Summary

OVO Luxury Signature is seeking a skilled and experienced Tailor to join our luxury fashion production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for garment stitching, alterations, fitting adjustments, finishing, and ensuring all products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Experience in luxury fashion, evening wear, couture, bridal wear, or women's fashion is highly preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesGarment Construction & Sewing

• Stitch garments according to approved patterns, specifications, and production requirements.
• Operate industrial sewing machines and related tailoring equipment.
• Assemble garment components with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensure high-quality stitching and finishing standards are maintained.

Alterations & Fittings

• Perform garment alterations and adjustments based on fitting requirements.
• Modify garments to achieve the desired fit and appearance.
• Assist during fitting sessions and implement required corrections.
• Ensure all alterations are completed accurately and within deadlines.

Quality Control

• Inspect garments throughout the sewing process to ensure quality standards.
• Identify and correct stitching defects, fitting issues, and construction problems.
• Ensure finished garments meet OVO Luxury Signature quality expectations.
• Maintain consistency in garment finishing and presentation.

Production Support

• Work closely with the Master Cutter, Pattern Maker, and Production Team.
• Follow production schedules and meet assigned deadlines.
• Support sample development and production runs.
• Assist with urgent production requirements when needed.

Workplace & Equipment Maintenance

• Maintain sewing machines and tools in good working condition.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company policies, production procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of tailoring experience in fashion, garment manufacturing, boutique, couture, or luxury fashion environments.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and sewing techniques.
• Ability to work with various fabrics including delicate and luxury materials.
• Experience in alterations, fitting adjustments, and garment finishing.
• Good understanding of measurements and garment specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in luxury fashion, evening wear, bridal wear, or women's fashion.
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality control standards in garment production.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position based in Dubai.
• Overtime may be required during peak production periods and urgent orders.
• Fast-paced luxury fashion production environment.

OVO Luxury Signature is looking for passionate and skilled tailors who take pride in craftsmanship, precision, and delivering exceptional quality garments.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
