Full job description

We are an automotive showroom looking for an Operations Manager to lead our Inspection and delivery team.
Day to day responsibilities of the position are as follows

  • Oversee the Inspections and condition of vehicles for damage, missing parts, mechanical problems and accurately complete required paperwork along with dealing/correcting any condition report issues or errors.
  • Track and Manage all active vehicle inventory through Cloud Based ERP system.
  • Manage, Maintain and establish relationships with vehicle service providers to maintain the highest quality outcomes for services performed on vehicles.
  • Maintain knowledge of current rates, labor and parts charges to ensure that repair orders are completed correctly. Communicate with other managers in regards to any account issues.
  • Develop and manage many processes for vehicles and mechanical issues
  • Develop action plans to correct deficiencies in service levels.
  • Maintains 100% updates of internal systems, ensuring internal communication.
  • Coordinate the movement of vehicles from the inspection department to the vehicles next destination.
  • Assists in the coordination of recruiting and hiring process and procedures with Human Resources per company policy.
  • Assist the arbitration department in setting policy and and operational layout for inspections.
  • Develop and train all employees within the Department to company standards and guidelines. Monitor training conducted and ensure such training is according to company policy and procedures.
  • Make sure the Department is properly staffed at all times. May need to assist in developing and posting work schedules for all Department employees.
  • Maintain and promote positive employee relations and morale whenever possible by practicing sound leadership and human relations principles to promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance. Follow through and communicate employee relations problems to the General Manager or designated manager.
  • Ensure proper follow-through on all directives, bulletins, schedules and accounting from the General Manager, designated manager or other corporate sources. Maintain a good flow of communication with all personnel.
  • Monitor all facility conditions, vehicles, property and equipment to ensure they are within corporate standards for cleanliness, proper maintenance and safety.
  • Assure good operating condition of all equipment. Report and recommend maintenance and repair to property and equipment as needed.
  • Inform the General Manager or designated manager and Facilities of all breakdowns and maintenance immediately.
  • Make sure all shop conditions do not threaten employee safety. Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property. Report all incidents to the General Manager or designated manager immediately.
  • Ensure that all departments receive prompt, courteous and efficient service from all employees both in person and on the phone. Maintain a professional appearance and neat work environment consistent with company policy. Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner and inform the General Manager or designated manager of all serious complaints or incidents.
  • Support corporate goals and objectives.

Required qualifications

This position requires the ability to multi-task, establish priorities, complete assignments thoroughly and accurately, communicate effectively across company divisions and departments, as well as read and comprehend information.

  • Bachelors of Automobile Engineering or related educational qualification
  • Ideally Technical certification related to Vehicle Inspection
  • Must have strong management, human relations and communication skills.
  • Ideal candidate will possess a strong logistic skill set.
  • An understanding of customer service delivery techniques and problem-solving methods.
  • Must be achievement orientated with problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach.
  • Flexible and tolerant of changes in methods, approaches and objectives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
