Job Description: Company Driver

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Company Driver to join our team. The Company Driver will be responsible for safely transporting employees (including high management employees), clients, and goods to various destinations while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:

Safe Transportation: Operate company vehicles in a safe and defensive manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.

Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to reach destinations on time, considering traffic conditions and other factors to minimize delays.

Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure the company vehicle is in proper working condition. Report any mechanical issues promptly.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers and clients, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant journey experience.

Load Management: Safely load and unload goods and materials as needed, securing them properly to prevent damage during transit.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information. Complete all necessary paperwork, such as logbooks and expense reports.

Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergency situations, including accidents or breakdowns, by following established protocols and ensuring the safety of passengers and cargo.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with supervisors, dispatchers, and other team members to provide status updates and report any incidents or delays.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Proven experience (at least years) as a company driver or similar role.

Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.

Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.

Excellent driving skills and a focus on safety.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Physical fitness and ability to handle loading/unloading tasks.

Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.

Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability.

Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a corporate or executive driving role.

Additional language skills for effective communication with diverse clients.
