Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily pastry and bakery production operations within the central kitchen or assigned outlets.
  • Prepare and develop high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, viennoiserie, and specialty baked items.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, portioning, and quality standards across all products.
  • Assist in menu development, seasonal offerings, and new product innovation.
  • Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and coordinate with procurement for ordering requirements.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all food products in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Train, supervise, and guide pastry team members to maintain operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor wastage and implement cost control measures to minimize food costs while maintaining quality.
  • Ensure all recipes and production processes are followed accurately and consistently.
  • Coordinate production schedules according to operational requirements and business demands.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to maintain hygiene and food safety compliance.
  • Ensure all equipment used in pastry production is maintained properly and reported for maintenance when required.
  • Support special events, catering requirements, seasonal promotions, and new outlet openings when needed.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all products meet company presentation and taste standards.
  • Always maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry production area.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and innovative pastry concepts.
  • Carry out additional culinary or operational tasks assigned by management in the benefit of the organization.
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism while handling confidential operational information.

Minimum: 7-10 Years in the same field

  • Italian and Continental cuisine experience required
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office and material management software
  • Bachelor's degree Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, Baking & Confectionery, or related field.
