Overview

Job Details:

Maintain, organize, and regularly update laboratory records, documents, and files to ensure accurate documentation.

Provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support to assist with the smooth operation of the laboratory.

Prepare basic chemical solutions and laboratory materials by following approved procedures and safety guidelines.

Manage the ordering, tracking, and inventory of laboratory consumables, chemicals, reagents, and other supplies.

Support laboratory staff with routine sample preparation, testing activities, and basic laboratory analysis.

Ensure laboratory materials are properly handled, labeled, stored, and disposed of in accordance with safety requirements.

Assist supervisors and laboratory personnel with additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment by following established housekeeping standards.

Support compliance with laboratory procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations.

Record inventory usage and report low stock levels to help maintain an adequate supply of laboratory materials.

Job Experience Requirements

Associate, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in a relevant scientific discipline.

Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety practices.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written procedures and instructions accurately.

Good organizational, record-keeping, and time management skills.

Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a laboratory team.

Responsible, reliable, and disciplined approach to daily laboratory duties.

Basic computer skills for maintaining laboratory records and documentation will be considered an advantage.
