Job Description:

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision and storage of all materials.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Develop procedures and recommend estimates for an orderly replacement of exiting materials as it expires or deteriorates in a timely manner. coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods.
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
• ·Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
• ·Plan work rotation, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
• Produce reports and statistics regularly on daily, weekly and monthly basis (IN/OUT status report, low stock, dead stock report etc.).
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
• Work closely with the store to recommend quantities of supplies for purchase, and exercise budgetary control over warehouse operations.
• Hire, orient, coach, organize, encourage and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
• Supervise the cleaning of the warehouse including waste disposal of packaging materials. Develop cleaning schedule.
• Analyze shipment logs, Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries.
• Constantly work to improve processes.
• Make suggestions for productivity improvements.
• Optimize employee workflow.
• Determine and track most important warehouse KPIs.
• Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
• Communicate and collaborate with other team members.
• Track expenses related to fuel, storage, and truck maintenance.
• Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary.
• Plan future capacity requirements.
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
• Assisting with deliveries where required.
• Perform other duties assigned by Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum Higher Secondary education (10+2)
• 3 years’ experience of Warehouse Management.
• Bachelor’s degree with logistics, supply chain management as subjects would be an advantage.
• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Great interpersonal skills.
• Strong Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Exposure in Printing & Packaging is an asset. Commercial Driver’s License is an advantage.
• Forklift Operation Certification is an advantage.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Logical reasoning, numerical skills, Teamworking skills, Time-management skills, technical and IT skills, particularly when it comes to database management and spreadsheets

• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of the legal requirements of operating a warehouse.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
