DIRECTOR — IMS & QHSSE

A leading construction organization is looking for an experienced Director – IMS & QHSSE to lead the company’s integrated management systems covering Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment across multiple projects.

The role will report directly to senior leadership and will drive the implementation of robust QHSSE frameworks, compliance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the company’s Integrated Management System covering Quality, HSE, and Environmental standards.

• Develop QHSSE strategies aligned with company objectives and international standards.

• Oversee safety, quality, and environmental compliance across multiple construction projects and sites.

• Manage and guide teams responsible for HSE, QA/QC, sustainability, and corporate compliance.

• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure effective preventive actions.

• Drive a strong safety and quality culture through training, awareness, and leadership engagement.

• Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements and international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

• Lead quality assurance processes including inspections, testing procedures, and root cause analysis for quality issues.

• Establish and monitor KPIs for QHSSE performance and continuous improvement.

• Develop emergency preparedness plans and oversee crisis response coordination across sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental or related discipline.

• Minimum 20 years of experience in QHSSE, including 10+ years in leadership roles within construction companies.

• Strong experience in Integrated Management Systems (IMS) covering Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards.

• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO Lead Auditor (9001/14001/45001) are preferred.

• Proven experience managing QHSSE across large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED50,000.00 - AED75,000.00 per month
