JOB VACANCY – FIRE FIGHTER

Industry: Petrochemical / Oil & Gas
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Joining: Immediate Joiner Required

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Fire Fighter with previous experience in the petrochemical or oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for fire prevention, emergency response, firefighting operations, and maintaining safety standards at the project site.

Key Responsibilities

· Respond promptly to fire incidents, emergencies, and rescue situations.

· Operate firefighting equipment, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and emergency response systems.

· Conduct routine inspections of firefighting equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.

· Participate in fire drills, emergency evacuation exercises, and rescue operations.

· Identify fire hazards and report unsafe conditions to the HSE team.

· Support fire prevention activities and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.

· Follow Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and applicable HSE requirements.

· Maintain records of equipment inspections, fire drills, and emergency response activities.

· Coordinate with the emergency response team during incidents.

· Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or HSE Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

· Previous experience as a Fire Fighter in the petrochemical, oil and gas, or industrial sector is mandatory.

· Relevant firefighting training and valid certifications.

· Knowledge of firefighting techniques, emergency response procedures, and fire safety equipment.

· Good understanding of industrial safety standards and emergency evacuation procedures.

· Physically fit and capable of working in an industrial environment.

· Ability to work effectively as part of an emergency response team.

· Valid site-specific safety training and certifications, where required.

Candidate Requirements

· Immediate joiners only.

· Petrochemical industry experience is essential.

· Must be available for immediate mobilization upon selection.

· Updated CV and relevant certifications must be submitted.
