The company is very territorial by department. As a new employee, it was almost impossible to know who to contact if you needed assistance from another department. The company has a very intelligent workforce.
Freedom to run your business
Poor leadership from immediate manager. Plausible deniability!
Management on the production side is very inexperienced which can be very hard pressing most of the time, treats you more like a cog in the machine than an actual person. A lot of pride gets in the way of management’s decision making so all common sense usually goes out the window which ultimately effects the overall morale of production workers which is already low as it is. Terrible terrible system for hardware organization. Shop is a complete mess, feels like you have to search endlessly for tools which is surprising for a company trying to keep production hours down. Total lack of training, you get shown how to do things once then your thrown to the wolves. Very rude office staff especially the safety person. STEER CLEAR
Good Mechanical work
I only left when I became a foster mother so the children could have more stability. Friendly people. Good training. Easy, laid back job. Some supervisors could definitely use replacing but overall they're typically helpful. Upper management is pretty good at dealing with issues in a timely manner.
Holiday pay, lunches provided occasionally, good management team
Concrete floors, regular heavy lifting, low starting wage
Overall it is a great company to work for. Very organized and focused on the bottom line. Strenuous at times as projects and periodic deadlines create stressful occurances. Human resources created a great environment by creating committees and groups for shared experiences. Very inclusive in the approach of corporate communication. Benefits were above average.

Overall it’s a good job and company to work for. Ability to advance is few and far between. Activities and employee interactions were great before Covid. I’m hoping that will go back to normal.
Pto, people are great, job security, no micromanaging
Upward mobility, pay could be better for the industry
Honestly, Same issues you see elsewhere. Executives disconnected and yell and bark with no bite. Remember, control is an illusion. You must influence change with the planting of the correct seeds. Then water and love the ideas until they cone to fruition. My only very strong feedback is only allow leaders to be on the management team. Manage tasks and Lead People. Pay more and you will get the safety and quality Siemens shareholders need and deserve. Pay now or Pat later. Less expensive to make the investment in people and equipment in the beginning. Cheers to Siemens and may God continue to bless them
Lots to Learn
I wish I had never started here!!!Absolutely no chance for advancement. I am a technician, and only packed boxes for 3 years!!!I would reccomend this company for anyone with absolutely no skills, they will 'train' you.
Benefits first day

Amazing team/Satisfaction of knowing your work is saving lives
Micromanagement in some job roles/locations
They demand you complete your kits in or under a certain amount of hours. working on second shift you don't get the chance to get support from a tool room and most likely your going to get paid the lowest pay they offer. When you get converted to a Siemens employee the pay increase is like a dollar more a hour
When your a Siemens employee you get boot voucher and they give good hoods
They complain about cars not hitting hours
buen ambiente laboral ,capacidad de compartir experiencias/ implementación de sistemas integrados en la seguridad/valor a las personas/estabilidad /
As a supplier quality engineer each day was a new experience. Work with some very professional personnel during my tenure with Siemens. Travel was a normal thing each and every week.
