My last two years at Serco

Serco is a service and outsourcing company, based out of UK, and has been delivering essential public services for more than 40 years. Serco focusses on improving the quality and efficiency of essential services that matter to millions of people around the world where Serco has setup offices.Serco began life in 1929 when Radio Corporation of America formed a UK subsidiary, RCA Services Limited, to support the country's growing cinema industry. In the early 1960s the company won a piece of work that was to shape its future direction - a maintenance contract for the UK Ballistic Missile Early Warning System at the Royal Air Force (RAF) base at Fylingdales.My time at Serco for the past 2 years has been a memorable experience dealing with the some of the most challenging deadlines and complicated requirements posed by the client - aligning benefits to the bid, mobilizing new hires within timelines, and customizing HRIS modules to serve varying customer requirementsAs Serco in the Middle East has recently expanded its workforce to a 3000+ from just 200 staffs, a typical day at work would be a calendar filled with meetings to resolve some of the most tricky and challenigng solutions whilst also keeping in mind stakeholder expectations and meeting them within promised timelines or well in advance.My work ethos mean that my customers come back to my team again and again. The long-term relationships I maintain with my clients help me to meet their changing needs and to do what I think my team and I do bestHardest part of the job: Transforming legacy practices into reformed -
