Store Supervisor in Dubai
Competitive and disciplined but some unfair pay ratesIt’s good to start your career with Rivoli and there are chances of growth but after a very long waiting as it’s quite competitive.Good to learn store upkeep but team management skills are not taught in the right direction as it’s more of a bossy management attitude building.HR is quite cunning on managing pay-scales and overtime payouts and due to which the overtime payouts are not done as per UAE labour law. Even for a public holiday they pay flat Aed 100 to every staff irrespective of their salary grade. And no one raises voice to not end up losing job.
Used to be a good company till it got corrupted by the family of one of the Top management."Loyalty is not well compensated"Used to be a fun and well driven organization, Rivoli used to be the place to grow and earn money but as years pass and as the company grew then the management became greedy and distracted with the profits then forgot the well being of employees.I used to think that Rivoli would be a name that will be respected wherever you go but it seems that it's a curse to have such a lengthy tenure in a company that does'nt even recognise nor appreciate the staff loyalty towards work and the organization.TOXIC ENVIRONMENT• Employee benefit – POOR• Insurance quality – Average to more than average (but Poor because Family inclusion was removed)• Annual Ticket – Low standard (Post Covid) • Management – Very POOR• Respect to the staff – VERY POOR• Equality – POOR• Monetary Incentives – POOR (depends on the location)• Gratuity – VERY POOR (pay slip will include very less average basic and more allowance)• Work life balance – POOR• Salary On time – Very Good• Salary with incentive calculation – POOR (Only because sometimes they will change the calculation and not compensate you, discrete Theft) • Abusive Corporate Managers and no good work ethics (Not all Corporate Managers, only few good ones left)I would ask you to reconsider joining Rivoli, please do some research before joining. Not all opportunities are equal and maybe this is the company for you. I just wish that the company would make some changes and will go back to the old Rivoli which has a common goal to become successful.
Family run management, so if u have a problem keep it under ur pillow and sleep well
Salary is decent never had any issues.Management my advice never approach them .If u are ready to sacrifice ur personal life completely u can survive easily.Annual leaves u will b lucky if u get them when u really need it.Sick leave unless u lose a hand or a limb u must come to work.
Good On time Salary but lots of stress. You'll have to face multiple managerNo ending workloads for Optometrist. You've to clean the mistakes of others. Stressful job with no personal time. Sometimes on your off day also you have to work.
Terrible ManagementManagement don’t know how to manage the operations properly. You will be asked to work extra hours, for a total of 14 to 15 hrs(whole day) due to staffing problem and short of staff.(atleast once or twice a week). You will open and close the shop for the whole day. Even going to washroom was a problem. You’re lucky if you get to leave early on other days to get paid for the extra hours as they will not pay overtime. They will send or transfer you anytime they want to different malls/locations. So its a struggle to figure out your transportation. You will only know your schedule/roster the night before. When you open up to your manager and tried to raise your concerns they will pretend to understand your situation but they will not do anything or even make it worse for you. Commission is not even good enough for your hardwork and high sales. Some managers/seniors will shout at you, humiliate you if they don’t like something. They don’t know how to respect and appreciate all of your hard work. And a lot more….
