Lowe's Heroes

Lowe’s has funded community improvement projects since 1957. But answering the call to serve means more than writing checks. It means lending a helping hand in times of need. We do that with the help of Lowe’s Heroes volunteers. Each year, Lowe’s associates provide thousands of hours of support to local communities as part of the Lowe’s Heroes volunteer program. While projects vary by location, Lowe’s Heroes share a common goal – to make their communities better places to live. Every Lowe’s store in the U.S. has completed at least one Lowe’s Heroes project for the past three years. From part-time associates to vice presidents, Lowe’s Heroes roll up their sleeves to complete community improvement projects across the United States. Additionally, Lowe’s Heroes help communities in the immediate aftermath of a disaster. Whether it’s distributing hot meals and clean-up supplies in a coastal community impacted by a hurricane, or clearing debris after a tornado, Lowe’s Heroes show up for neighbors when they’re needed the most.
