It was the best experience since the opening to work over there. Friendly team and the management was fair enough i would say and i liked the accomodation location in jumierah Village :-)
in my case about typical day of work for me i. e am a flexible person ,some time we need to understand there is a time or day need our service .like busy hour . and according what i learn it more learn like for furchasing iam responsible for all what we needs in restaurant ,like for example juices and all neededin the bar , and also i learn about using metrix any outlet in the hotel thats a good advantage for me and i work alone .about management is very is good we need to follow the rule .work place is very far from the city take time . no permanent time procedure ,if every body are participate .
ensuring good guest service. Management is supportive. implementation of new system is little lacking. Learnt to be more pro-active in my approach at work

Its a great place to work with lot of learning and easy way of helping team members.and the team here and the company is a single owner company but its great pleasure to work as it gives lot of enthusiasm and encouragement here to work with all team and individual.

I love having the freedom and empowered position to truly serve my guest. I find the position of department heads challenging. Working with associates, discovering their talents and aspirations is like a breath of fresh air.

its nice being part of the pre opening team in 2014,and also meet wonderful colleague who are very supportive,Though the location was poor especially back then we it was newly opened,but we thank God for the development of the area now..Gradually we are getting there....

I learned a lot of thing first time management level hotel is excellent management very good all management good support and my job for purchasing for hotel good price and good quality and as per hotel policy
I learn a lot in this company,it make me strong,this hotel is new,evrytime change the rules because it change the management,wat I don't like is 4 people in 1 room,kitchen inside room,if my roommate cooking I wake up,no privacy
Start with briefing meeting then Sales team breifing to review the Sales calls targets . Then Sales calls following by debriefing .prepare the rates and reports .

Our hotel is located at International Media Production Zone-Dubai, a bit far from the city. Surroundings are still under construction. Disadvantages from other hotels is surroundings and locations. Most of the comments we have received are concerning the location that a bit away from the city and there is no other facilities in the surroundings nearby. Another its a dry hotel, no alcohol,wherein one main reason why some guest are not coming back once they're been here.
on my side this is my first hotel experience which i have learned a lot by dealing with different type of people, as you say a corporate world. A politics view. Confidentiality and discreet.
But every situation have 2 sides, the good and the bad. And every one of us requires to deal with it, and if you can't handle the situation, you have always a choice..

Plan and supervise the day to day operations of the Reception section which are related to the arrival and departure of guests, including the room sales, the room assignments of VIPs, Groups and Crews and room registrations.
1- Coordinate and monitor the work of direct subordinates and verifies that all receptionists are well groomed in order to ensure guests’ satisfaction and adherence to service standards.
2 - Carry out training for new associates and on the job training. Motivate staff to bring about excellent performance.
3 - Handle guest requests and complaints in a polite and efficient manner, give further instructions to the relevant staff if needed to ensure customer satisfaction and maintains a record of all complaints received from all guests. Follow up when necessary.
4 - Coordinate with various departments to ensure all information on guests are accurate such as rate, room type, billing, guest requests and oversee that guests’ specific requirements are addressed in an efficient manner.
5 - Keep abreast on hotel products and services as well as on tourist and business traveling information that may be of any interest to our guests.
6- Ensure the Front Office Manager is fully aware of any relevant feedback from Guests and/or other departments.
7- Drive sales revenues and promote hotel services and facilities for up-selling opportunities.
8- Assume leadership in the absence of Night manager
