Good Place to start
Financial Representative (Former Employee) - Southlake, TX - November 26, 2022
Not a bad place to start. There’s a lot of ways to work up in the company with lots of meetings for how you can get to where you want to be. I felt like my bosses genuinely wanted to see us succeed.

Great Place to Work
Financial Customer Associate (Current Employee) - Westlake, TX - November 10, 2022
Training can be overwhelming, Day to Day can be a bit draining but also rewarding. Very Customer Service Oriented. Pay is okay but could be a bit more for the work

Innovative and supportive
Machine Learning Analyst (Current Employee) - Toronto, Canada - November 10, 2022
Started as student and got hired as full time employee. Great environment so far and would like to update more as my role ages. The department is relative new and has a lot of potential to grow.

Good first job. Don’t stay too long.
Registered Representative (Former Employee) - Merrimack, NH - November 3, 2022
Moderate pay. Good working conditions. Very good benefits. Management is poor. Corporate is gross. Company’s direction is all over the place. Large corporate culture that requires cool aid drinking.

Unrealistic phone expectations
Senior Service Support (Former Employee) - Merrimack, NH - November 1, 2022
Expect to spend a very large portion of your day on the phone with little time to accomplish anything else. Management says they will make things better, but this does not happen.

Great culture and people
Cyber Security Analyst (Former Employee) - Durham, NC - October 31, 2022
The perfect company for those that value work life balance and independent learning. The people are friendly genuine and help you grow. Fantastic culture. Would continue working here if it wasn’t for the location and a bit below industry standard pay.

Good benefits and Training
Customer Relations Specialist (Current Employee) - Covington, KY - October 25, 2022
Seems like a great place to work so far. I’m still in training, but the benefits are great. The only negatives I have so far is the pay is pretty low compared to other companies.

Customer Service Associate-DC (Former Employee) - Albuquerque, NM - October 24, 2022
What is the best part of working at the company? Great training. Great trainers and managers. Literally everyone willing to help… somewhat flexible schedule. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Constant calls. If not used to a call center setting. This is an awakening lol What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Friendly. Willing to help or direct you where to go What is a typical day like for you at the company? Remote. Log on. Take calls back to back for 10 hours. Very little time to research the more detailed calls

Good place to start a career
Fixed Income Specialist , Certified Financial Planner (Former Employee) - Covington, KY - October 23, 2022
They give you good training and support .If you work hard you advance rapidly. Your Manager can help make you or break you . Some are awesome at helping people move up and advance. But if you have been there a long time you start to get limited in your options to advance .

Call Center Role
High Net Worth Service Associate (Current Employee) - Merrimack, NH - October 19, 2022
Call center role. Expected to take call after call, only 45 minutes of break a day, 30 min unpaid lunch. Many customers calling are upset, rude, or ask for the impossible. Must adhere to your schedule at all times, very strict about this. Internal applications take a long time to hear anything back. Very, very difficult to gain experience in anything that is not a call center role. Difficult to transition off the phones internally. Many people outside of the phone roles seem to enjoy their roles. However feeling trapped in a call center role is not a good feeling, nor does it set employees or the company up for success. On a positive note the benefits are great, lots of PTO time, worked with some great people. Friendly for the most part.

Productive Environment with plenty of things to do.
Investment Solutions Representative (Former Employee) - Durham, NC - October 19, 2022
Consistent learning, even though it is a major company it is a great place for knowledge. Leadership cares about your progress and success. It really is enjoyable helping someone out with their finances or explaining how to a certain fund works.

Employees are commodities
HNW Service Associate (Former Employee) - Covington, KY - October 13, 2022
Training is excellent and benefits are comparable to the rest of the industry. Good stuff out of the way; Fidelity treats their employees like commodities to be burned through. You will be micromanaged to the point of incompetence never allowed to own or take responsibility in problem solving. You are a worker drone who exists to take as many calls as possible. You will asked to answer to numerous metrics even your boss won’t understand. But don’t get comfortable because as soon as you get used to the current system some executive with zero familiarity with the realities of your job will come up with some new initiative (roughly every six months).
