Working for Al Futtaim has been an absolute privilege, it is one of the biggest names in UAE with international recognition.The work hours truly depend on if you want to go to that extra mile to grow, also people are friendly to work with and do understand you at a more personal level rather than just at a professional level.The quality of work is constantly under improvement, although there have been instances of cost cutting and lowering manpower, despite that the companys vision is to grow and acheive sucess in the future.

1. Good competitve salaries for new joiners, 2. Ellaborate induction, 3. On the job training period, 4. Collabrative teamwork, 5. Not hierarchical (present work to director directly), 6. Management willing to hear to problems and make changes
Cons
1. Slowest possible salary and poaition growth wait 5+ years. 2. Changes are slow, idealogies take a long time to evolve., 3. Smallest of the decisions require approval from VC

Finance Manager (Current Employee) - Dubai - March 29, 2018
Al Futtaim was a good company around 5-6 years back. Now they are not retaining their key employees and there is no job security. Salary increment and promotion is a dream as they do not professional employees in HR.
