fun

AAA is a workplace that truly stands out in today's competitive corporate landscape. With its commitment to employee well-being and professional growth, AAA has created an exceptional environment where individuals can thrive. One of the most notable aspects of AAA is its unwavering dedication to fostering a healthy work-life balance. The company goes above and beyond to ensure that employees can maintain their personal lives while excelling in their careers. Flexible scheduling options, remote work opportunities, and generous paid time off are just a few of the ways AAA supports its staff in achieving this balance.

Reasonable learning environment

I worked part-time during the summer 2018. Provided travel and insurance services to members. The full time employees were very close. They were helpful when it came to learning the computer system. Some days were very slow and seemed endless. AAA is sort of a dying in-person business. Mainly middle aged and elderly would come into this brick and mortar location. -Performed clerical and administrative duties including use of cash register and internal company software.-Enrolled new members, handled payments, assisted members with insurance and auto club questions, prepared travel documents (trip-tiks!) and itinerary.

Very confusing place to work

Management doesn't know how to adjust claims so there's nobody to ask for help. You're handling 80 claims and 150 when there's a catastrophe. There's no work life balance.

Good at first

When I got hired on as a dispatcher, things were looking good. Received a raise in pay before even working on the call center floor, able to work from home months later, and paid training. Benefits were above and beyond. IT changed when i started working a few months. Have to deal with upset members/rude drivers, having different supervisors every month, plus changing protocols without notification. Even giving final warnings (never had a warning or write up prior) for something no one mentioned that to me was wrong. Company, pay, and benfits are great, but not at the cost of mental health.

Pros

Pay, benefits

Cons

workload

No support for remote employees

Remote working is a challenge but it's even more of a challenge without IT support. I was having issues and found it impossible to get anyone to help me find out what the issue was. Other companies offer the ability to work in office if you have technical issues that can't be fixed but not at AAA. You will just not get paid and eventually let go.

Relaxed, friendly workplace

There's little stress and no micro-management. They trust their employees to do the work at their own pace. There's a good vibe among the employees in and out of the office.
