Port runner

Get up at 3 am to go to Georgia ports and return at 1pm if you are lucky. This company charges customers huge transport fees and you get $135 or slightly more for 9 hours of fighting traffic. They furloughed drivers during pandemic and didn't even tell us we had to call them. No assistance at getting unemployment at all. You're just a number on the list to them. You are also not considered an essential employee by the way you are treated. Workplace not a friendly environment when managers are only concerned with you getting the bus inventory and not if you are happy doing your job. Its basically a stopping place on your way to getting a real job.

People pass work not want to do to the next person, to many people giving orders, HR no take seriously about workers complaining, if you make decent amount of money they find the form of fired you for a person that make less money

If you need your 40 hours it’s perfect lol

management sucks, they don’t train, they operate there buisness as a buddy system, they try to program there techs to do things abc way, then when you do it there way and you know it’s wrong they get mad smh

Management

Very poor at treating people or progressing tour career. Salary compensation is based on friendships and not experience . My advice would never take a job in the parts department they treat you terrible if your not a member of the click

Good department culture, with highly customer focused management

Good benefits, decent pay, decent hours and a decent work life balance. Direct management was always understanding and supportive. Second tier and officer level management was very customer focused, which is good for business, but they would heavily over-promise when it comes to pricing, time frames and expectations, leaving the lower employees to make it happen at all costs. Lots of stress and rushing work to get products and service out. Very laid back rules when it comes to hours and in office chatting.

Great place to work and everyone is friendly and great to work with

The management team and owner are all very supportive of their employees. COVID hit this industry very hard and I lost my job but I would still go back if offered a position. The purchasing and customer service teams are a pleasure to work with as is the sales team. Definitely recommend applying if you are ever offered the opportunity.

Success driven company to lead the industry!

Great family owned employer. Work hard and you can advance very quickly!!!! Best employer I have ever worked for! They love there veterans and take great care of all employees. Great benefits as well! If given the opportunity to be employed with ABC Companies you should not pass up this great opportunity!!!!

labor workers got along as a team

fellow employees courteous and respectful of each other no matter your position held. extra taining opportunity available at times. communication between management and lower level employees is more times then not bias and disrespectful. employees do not always receive portions of benifits they were entitled to or unaware of themselves, or failure of management to properly communicate this information to employees.

Great camaraderie with fellow employees, good work hours, no wk-ends.

distrust you will recieve fairness as a honest dedicated employee from them

Overworked underpaid benefits are too expensive they expect too much from people and never want to give you the proper pay they want you to do more with no extra money people quit because of it. No growth in the company.

every one get alone with each other like a family

a best place to be you just feel like your second family,some time works over load you really stress but we try to get it over,manager team alway be there when ever you need ,a good part we have BBQ every month

Tolerable Employment

The pay is fair for the work required, but I rarely felt energized when going into work. Upper management does not have a clear direction of where the product/company is going on poorly plan for the future. Most decisions are made off gut feeling of managers which works for some, but not everyone

Clean and advancing workplace

While working for ABC they sent me to multiple training opportunities to advance my career. Was able to gain knowledge in my trade enabling me to advance in my career.

Good people to work with

My fellow employees were good people. Most of the managers are personable. However they are all business. Good place to work. Only had one problem. Trying to get financial approval for shop needs was a pain. Not on the part of the managers but rather the corporate office.

could be a fun workplace at times

loved what I did there but no moving up in position nor pay. more cons than pros. the job was a little more on the stressful side only because of the supervisor I was working for. he pushed to get things done just so that he can look good and didn't care about our well beings

It was great in the beginning then management changed got an experience Foreman's in here that know nothing about buses and have no people skills

Bias and prejudiced management and HR are very twisted Too Faced and cut throat pretend to be your friend I see things that others don't but I just show up and do my job and stay out of the drama if I see it coming my way I like to strike first or just something they don't like but learn to stay away from me have to know when to speak up for yourself because no one else will

Just apply yourself and your work ethic

Great company with many options for future advancements in several types of mechanical fields. If you are thinking about applying stop and just apply your resume you won't be disappointed.

Ok place to work

No room for advancement. A couple of cool people there. Warehouse supervisor is the best ever. They do help out if you need it. But overall a good place to work. Like family

Poor Managment, Lack of training and politics

I worked for ABC Bus for 7 yrs. it was okay at first. Not much training had to ask a lot of questions ( on the job training). I Worked in Product and development and was there for a short time because they Fired everyone in the Purchasing dept. even the Manager and those who he hired. they need people to fill the space. So, I was trying to be a team player by helping fill the gap of the purchasing dept. I was there in Purchasing for three to four months asking if I was going back to Product and development? There answer was that position does not existed any more and if you don't like where you are at ,there's the door. So I stayed for another three years until they hired and outside manager that had no prior experience at the job and was riding the coat tails of the employees to get by. Eventually the manager got tired of me,so they let me go with 4 weeks savants pay. If your not management in this company they make you fell like your not part of the team. Also, if you are not part of the office Political circle you are excluded. A lot of office politics at this company. If you are a team player, don't work here. They will not acknowledge your hard work and don't care.
