The Bench Café is looking for talented, experienced, and passionate Specialty Coffee Professionals to join our growing team in the UAE.

We are looking for candidates who are serious about coffee quality, consistency, hospitality, and professional café operations.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are particularly interested in candidates with UAE specialty coffee experience and a strong understanding of modern café operations.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate experience in:

  • Specialty coffee preparation and service
  • Espresso extraction and dial-in
  • Coffee calibration and quality control
  • Manual brewing methods
  • Grinder adjustment and equipment handling
  • Latte art and milk texturing
  • Coffee beans, origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles
  • Recipe development and beverage consistency
  • Café opening and closing procedures
  • Food safety, hygiene, and operational standards
  • Customer service and hospitality
  • Inventory control and wastage reduction
  • POS systems and daily café operations

FOR SENIOR & LEADERSHIP POSITIONS

Candidates applying for Head Barista, Café Supervisor, should additionally have proven experience in:

  • Leading and developing barista teams
  • Staff training and coffee skills development
  • Coffee standards and SOP implementation
  • Bar workflow and productivity
  • Stock and inventory management
  • Cost and wastage control
  • Sales and operational performance
  • Scheduling and manpower planning
  • Customer experience management
  • Performance monitoring and coaching
  • Maintaining consistent beverage quality across operations

UAE EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY VALUED

Candidates with experience in UAE specialty coffee shops, third-wave cafés, roasteries, premium cafés, or established coffee brands are encouraged to apply.

Experience with Foodics, POS systems, specialty coffee equipment, coffee calibration, inventory systems, and café management will be considered an advantage.

SCA certification or other recognized specialty coffee training is an advantage, particularly for senior and leadership positions.
