Dupharm is hiring a Junior Biomedical Engineer to support our growing healthcare and medical equipment division in the UAE. This is an entry-level professional role requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience. Candidates must be currently based in the UAE.

Job Purpose

The Junior Biomedical Engineer will handle installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of medical and diagnostic devices. You will assist senior engineers, interact with healthcare clients, and ensure all medical equipment operates safely, effectively, and in compliance with UAE regulatory frameworks (including DHA, DOH/HAAD, and MOH).

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on biomedical systems.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical hardware and software errors on-site at hospitals, clinics, and medical labs.
• Calibration & Testing: Validate and calibrate equipment regularly to protect patient safety and maintain diagnostic accuracy.
• Client Training: Educate healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and operators on the safe, optimal handling of devices.
• Inventory & Records: Keep accurate, updated service logs, asset inventories, and maintenance reports.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to manufacturer standards, local healthcare laws, and hospital safety protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of active experience in medical equipment servicing or maintenance.
• Location Status: Must be currently available and residing in the UAE.
• Driving License: A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory for traveling to client locations across the Emirates.
• Skills: Strong technical troubleshooting, detail-oriented, and reliable time management abilities.
• Communication: Excellent spoken and written English skills; Arabic language capability is a plus.
