Full job description

We are looking for a skilled Painter to join our Engineering team and support the hotel’s maintenance operations. The role involves performing painting, polishing, and surface repair work to maintain the hotel’s appearance and ensure a high standard of presentation across guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out painting, varnishing, polishing, and finishing work in guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and repairing imperfections.
  • Mix and match paint colors and ensure consistent application.
  • Perform touch‑ups, repainting, and preventive maintenance as required.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and painting materials in good condition.
  • Ensure all work complies with hotel safety standards and maintenance procedures.
  • Assist the Engineering team with general maintenance tasks when needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of painting experience (hospitality experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint types, and application techniques.
  • Ability to work with brushes, rollers, spray guns, and finishing tools.
  • Good attention to detail and color matching.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willing to work shifts and respond to urgent maintenance requests.
