Project Coordinator – Fit-Out & Joinery

About the Role
JR Interiors Decoration L.L.C. is looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our fit-out and joinery team. The successful candidate will act as the key link between clients, designers, and engineers, ensuring projects move smoothly from concept to completion, on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication and workflow between clients, design teams, and engineering/site teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, flagging delays or issues proactively
• Schedule and follow up on client meetings, design reviews, and site coordination meetings
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, approvals, change orders, and correspondence
• Liaise with joinery and fit-out production teams to ensure specifications and timelines are understood and met
• Prepare progress updates and status reports for management and clients
• Support procurement coordination for materials and finishes as needed
• Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated to design and engineering teams, and vice versa
• Assist in resolving day-to-day project issues and escalate where necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 1–3 years' experience in project coordination within fit-out, joinery, interior design, or construction industries
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi a plus)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools is a plus
• Ability to read and understand basic architectural/interior drawings
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
