Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our professional team at Pets Society Veterinary Clinic. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical support to our veterinarians, ensure exceptional care for our patients, and deliver outstanding service to our pet owners.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Handling: Safely restrain and handle animals (dogs, cats, etc.) for examinations, treatments, and procedures.

Surgical & Anesthesia Assistance: Prepare surgical suites, sterilize instruments, assist during surgeries, and monitor patient vitals during anesthesia and recovery.

Diagnostics & Laboratory: Perform routine laboratory tests (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams) and operate diagnostic equipment, including digital X-rays.

Treatment & Medication: Administer prescribed medications, vaccinations, fluid therapy, and IV catheter placements as directed by the vet.

Client Communication: Explain treatment plans, discharge instructions, and home care protocols clearly to pet owners.

Facility Maintenance: Maintain clean, sanitized, and fully stocked treatment areas, surgical suites, and pharmacy inventory.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Veterinary Science

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Vet Tech in a busy clinical setting (UAE experience preferred).

Licensing: eligible for MOCCAE licensure in the UAE

Skills: Strong clinical skills (venipuncture, IV placement, triage, and emergency response).

Languages: Fluent in English

Interpersonal: High level of empathy, attention to detail, and ability to work calmly in fast-paced environments.

Location: Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), Dubai.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
