The Role

We're looking for a Senior Underwriter to join our Dubai team and take ownership of credit decisioning across our SME lending book, balancing risk against commercial opportunity as we scale across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting on deals across our full lending range, from smaller working capital facilities to larger SME funding lines
• Analyse financials, bank data, and open banking feeds to assess creditworthiness
• Apply credit risk policies while spotting smart exceptions
• Structure offers that balance speed, risk, and commercial value
• Work closely with the sales team to support fast decisions and clean execution
• Escalate and advise on edge cases and complex scenarios
• Maintain underwriting documentation and CRM accuracy
• Coach junior underwriters and support continuous credit policy refinement
