Job Title: Medical Coder – OP/IP (UAE)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Local Hiring Only)

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of core Medical Coding experience

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Coder to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both Outpatient (OP) and Inpatient (IP) medical coding and possess a valid Emirates ID.

This is a local hiring opportunity; only candidates currently residing in Abu Dhabi will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review patient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and other applicable coding standards.
• Perform accurate coding for both Outpatient (OP) and Inpatient (IP) cases.
• Ensure coding compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and payer guidelines.
• Verify documentation completeness and coordinate with physicians or clinical teams for coding clarifications.
• Maintain coding quality, accuracy, and productivity targets.
• Stay updated with coding guidelines, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
• Assist in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in core Medical Coding.
• Experience in both OP and IP coding is mandatory.
• Candidate must be currently based in Abu Dhabi.
• Valid Emirates ID is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation review skills.
• Relevant coding certification (AAPC, AHIMA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Ability to work independently while maintaining high coding accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
