Job Description – RCM Manager (UAE)

Position: RCM Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic RCM Manager to lead Revenue Cycle Management operations for our UAE healthcare business. The ideal candidate should possess end-to-end knowledge of the UAE healthcare revenue cycle, insurance regulations, payer requirements, and claims management while also playing a key role in business development by supporting client acquisitions, presentations, and solution pitching.

This role requires a proactive professional who can manage operations, ensure compliance, build client relationships, and travel across the UAE to support business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Cycle Management

  • Manage the complete Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process from patient registration through final payment collection.
  • Oversee claims submission, payment posting, accounts receivable, denial management, reconciliations, and revenue optimization.
  • Monitor key RCM KPIs and implement strategies to improve collections, reduce denials, and maximize reimbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines.
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across the revenue cycle.

Insurance & Compliance

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of UAE health insurance payers, including government and private insurers.
  • Ensure compliance with DOH, DHA, MOHAP, and insurance payer regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, coding guidelines, billing regulations, and reimbursement methodologies.
  • Work closely with coding, billing, and operations teams to ensure accurate claim submissions and timely reimbursements.

Client Management & Business Development

  • Participate in client meetings, business presentations, and solution demonstrations.
  • Support the sales team by presenting the company's RCM capabilities to prospective healthcare providers.
  • Understand client requirements and propose customized RCM solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion and service improvement.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor RCM teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and process trainings.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in UAE Revenue Cycle Management.
  • Strong understanding of the complete RCM lifecycle in the UAE healthcare ecosystem.
  • Thorough knowledge of UAE insurance processes, payer portals, claim adjudication, denials, and reimbursement methodologies.
  • Experience working with hospitals, medical centers, or healthcare service providers.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, business presentations, and supporting sales initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Hospital Information Systems (HIS), EMR/EHR platforms, and healthcare billing software.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to interpret insurance contracts and payer policies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be currently based in the UAE with valid work authorization (or eligible to work in the UAE).
  • Prior experience working within the UAE healthcare industry is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UAE for client meetings, business development activities, and operational support.
  • Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
  • Needs to have an Emirates ID
