About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior Café Manager to join our growing café team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support the Café Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading the team, maintaining service standards, and ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Café Manager in the day-to-day operation of the café.
  • Supervise and motivate the team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and performance.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and daily manpower planning.
  • Ensure all food, beverage, and service standards are consistently maintained.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
  • Minimize wastage and support effective cost control.
  • Ensure the café is clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve operational issues professionally.
  • Assist with cash handling, POS procedures, and daily closing procedures.
  • Support the Café Manager with training and development of team members.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are followed.
  • Step in and take responsibility for the café operation in the absence of the Café Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in café, restaurant, or F&B operations.
  • Previous experience in a Supervisor or Junior Management role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of café operations and customer service.
  • Good leadership and team-management skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
