Job Summary

ARC Global Delivery Services is looking for a responsible, organized, and proactive Transport Coordinator to manage daily transportation activities, vehicle allocation, driver coordination, fleet maintenance, and operational support. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth movement of vehicles and delivery personnel while maintaining operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transport & Fleet Management

• Coordinate the daily allocation of cars, buses and other transport assets to drivers.
• Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, and movement.
• Maintain updated records of vehicle registration, insurance, permits, and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with UAE traffic regulations.

2. Driver & Rider Coordination

• Coordinate daily attendance, shift schedules, deployment, and transportation requirements of drivers and delivery riders.
• Ensure vehicles are allocated to the correct personnel and maintain accurate handover and return records.
• Follow up on vehicle breakdowns, accidents, traffic fines, and other transport-related issues.
• Ensure drivers and riders follow company policies, traffic laws, and vehicle safety procedures.

3. Operations & Reporting

• Maintain daily transport reports, fleet trackers, fuel records, maintenance logs, and vehicle utilization reports.
• Track vehicle expenses, repair costs, fuel consumption, and other transport-related expenditures.
• Coordinate with operations teams, supervisors, workshops, rental companies, and external service providers.
• Escalate operational issues and provide timely updates to management.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding of vehicles and transport assets.

4. Compliance & Cost Control

• Monitor vehicle documentation expiry dates and arrange timely renewals.
• Ensure proper use, parking, locking, and care of company vehicles and bicycles.
• Investigate vehicle damage, loss, misuse, and repeated maintenance issues.
• Identify opportunities to reduce fuel consumption, repair expenses, downtime, and overall fleet costs.
• Maintain proper documentation for accidents, insurance claims, and traffic violations.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in transport coordination, fleet management, logistics, or a similar role.
• Experience in UAE transport or last-mile delivery operations is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, traffic regulations, and vehicle documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and daily reporting.
• Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
• Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
