Reservations Agent – Luxury Party Restaurant

SAONA is an exciting new luxury party restaurant opening at voco Dubai The Palm, West Beach, Palm Jumeirah.

Our concept combines elevated Caribbean dining with modern Peruvian influences, exceptional hospitality, premium cocktails, live DJs and entertainment.

SAONA delivers a sophisticated dining experience that evolves into a vibrant, high-energy party atmosphere.

We are seeking a confident, articulate and highly professional Reservations Agent to join our opening team.

As one of the first points of contact for our guests, you will play an essential role in creating exceptional first impressions, managing reservations and delivering the personalised service expected in Dubai's luxury restaurant scene.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservation enquiries via telephone, WhatsApp, email and online booking platforms.
• Deliver a warm, polished and professional guest experience during every interaction.
• Manage and confirm reservations, cancellations, amendments and special requests.
• Maintain accurate reservation records, guest profiles and booking information.
• Manage VIP reservations, premium table requests and special occasions.
• Communicate reservation policies, minimum spends, deposits and cancellation terms clearly and professionally.
• Maximise restaurant occupancy and table utilisation through effective reservation management.
• Coordinate closely with the Reservations & Guest Relations Manager, Head Hostess and restaurant management.
• Handle high volumes of enquiries during peak dining and entertainment periods.
• Maintain strong knowledge of SAONA's dining concept, menu, events and entertainment schedule.
• Follow up on reservation enquiries and convert potential bookings into confirmed reservations.
• Build relationships with repeat guests and maintain detailed VIP guest preferences.
• Resolve guest enquiries and reservation issues calmly, efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with high-profile clientele.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in restaurant reservations or guest relations within Dubai's luxury or premium hospitality industry.
• Previous experience handling reservations for high-end restaurants, luxury party restaurants or premium dining venues.
• Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
• Exceptionally clear pronunciation, excellent diction and a polished, confident, professional telephone manner.
• Ability to communicate naturally and professionally with British and international clientele.
• Excellent telephone etiquette, active listening skills and guest communication.
• Proven experience managing restaurant reservations, VIP bookings and guest enquiries.
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to handle busy reservation periods and multiple communication channels simultaneously.
• Confidence dealing with VIP guests, international clientele and high-value reservations.
• Experience using restaurant reservation management software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a guest-focused approach.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and late-night shifts.

Highly Preferred

• Experience in Dubai's luxury party-restaurant or high-end dinner-party scene.
• Proficiency in SevenRooms, OpenTable or similar restaurant booking platforms.
• Experience in reservation sales, booking conversion and premium table allocation.
• Familiarity with minimum-spend policies, VIP tables and special-event bookings.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai's premium restaurant and nightlife market.
• Additional languages.
• Previous experience working within a restaurant opening team.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
