Job Overview

Peaksy Adventure Park & Family Restaurant is looking for a results-driven Operations Manager – Family Entertainment Center (FEC) to oversee daily operations, drive business development, increase revenue, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

This role combines operational leadership with a strong commercial focus. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing customer footfall, generating corporate and group bookings, developing business partnerships, managing events, and achieving agreed operational and revenue targets.

The Operations Manager will directly supervise the FEC Supervisor, ensuring efficient daily operations, strong team performance, high service standards, and compliance with applicable UAE safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Oversee the daily operations of the FEC, including attractions, play areas, customer service, birthday parties, events, and coordination with the F&B team.
• Ensure operational readiness, cleanliness, safety, and consistent service standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams to ensure all attractions and equipment remain operational and safe.
• Identify operational gaps and implement improvements to efficiency, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

Business Development & Revenue Growth

• Develop and implement strategies to increase customer footfall, revenue, repeat visits, and new customer acquisition.
• Identify and secure business opportunities with corporate clients, schools, hotels, tourism companies, travel agencies, event organizers, and community groups.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and corporate accounts.
• Generate leads, conduct client meetings and presentations, follow up on opportunities, and convert prospects into confirmed bookings and partnerships.
• Develop and promote birthday packages, school packages, corporate events, team-building activities, group offers, and other commercial initiatives.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and monitor lead conversion, client acquisition, repeat business, and revenue generated.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Call Center, Events, and F&B teams to maximize cross-selling and commercial opportunities.

Events & Sales Management

• Oversee the planning and operational execution of birthday parties, school trips, corporate functions, team-building activities, and group bookings.
• Ensure confirmed events are properly planned, staffed, prepared, and delivered according to agreed service standards.
• Monitor event bookings, daily and weekly sales performance, customer footfall, average spend, and revenue against targets.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through activities, F&B, packages, promotions, and other approved services.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

• Directly supervise, coach, and evaluate the FEC Supervisor.
• Ensure effective supervision of frontline employees, including hosts, cashiers, and operational support staff.
• Review and approve staff schedules and manpower plans according to business demand, operating hours, and event requirements.
• Coordinate with HR on recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
• Set operational priorities and ensure the team achieves agreed KPIs.

Guest Experience & Customer Service

• Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and customer service.
• Handle escalated complaints and implement corrective actions to improve the guest experience.
• Monitor customer feedback and online reviews and introduce initiatives to encourage repeat visits, referrals, and customer loyalty.

Cost Control, Safety & Reporting

• Monitor operational expenses, inventory usage, supplies, and wastage.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost efficiency, and departmental profitability.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE health, safety, municipality, Civil Defense, and FEC operational requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure proper incident reporting and emergency procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and commercial reports for management.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in family entertainment centers, amusement parks and theme parks.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets, increase customer footfall, and develop new business opportunities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising frontline teams or operational supervisors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good understanding of customer service standards, operational cost control, and health and safety requirements in the UAE.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
• Experience using CRM systems and booking platforms is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
