Full job description

Job Purpose

To perform vehicle maintenance and repair work by factory standards.

Accountability Area:

· Perform allocated repairs by the Manufacturer’s repair procedures to obtain high-quality repairs.

· Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, following manufacturer guidelines.

· Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and computer software.

· Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems.

· Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.

· Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.

· Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnosis and repair options, provide cost estimates, and address any concerns.

· Stay updated on industry developments, new technologies, and advancements in automotive repair techniques through training and professional development opportunities.

· Collaborate with other team members, including service advisors and parts personnel, to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.

· Avoid waste of time to improve productivity.

· Proper use of tools, equipment & shop manuals to keep in good condition.

· Attend training & self-study to improve skills & product knowledge

· Feedback to the Team leader on the additional repair required to get customer/insurance approval.

· Maintain the cleanliness of the working area to ensure a healthy & safe working environment.

· Follow the vehicle’s cleanliness cautions to obtain customer satisfaction

· safely conduct work by using suitable PPE required for the job and observing fire and safety regulations.

· Service Excellence standards: Pursue excellence in servicing customers, colleagues, and all company personnel.

· Perform other related duties as requested or required.

· Follow safety protocols and regulations when handling hazardous materials and operating machinery.

Safety:

· Adhere to the company’s QHSE Management system procedures & Guidelines.

· Notify hazards and HSE-related incidents to the QHSE Officer to prevent recurrence.

Education/ Qualification

High School graduate or technical education in the automotive field.

Work Experience

5 years of field experience in the same position with any Automobile Agency/ Dealer.

Vehicle knowledge

Skills

Experienced in performing different mechanical & electrical work.

Physically fit & hard worker.

Responsible & reliable

Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
