Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control systems used in industrial facilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with field instruments, control valves, transmitters, PLC systems, and calibration equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and maintain field instrumentation equipment.
  • Perform calibration of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
  • Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control systems.
  • Inspect, test, and maintain control valves, actuators, and positioners.
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Assist in PLC, DCS, and SCADA-related maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare calibration reports and maintenance documentation.
  • Ensure all work is carried out according to HSE and company procedures.
  • Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation.
  • 2–5 years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician in industrial plants.
  • Knowledge of process control instruments and calibration techniques.
  • Familiarity with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
  • Ability to use calibration tools such as pressure calibrators, HART communicators, and multimeters.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
