We Are Hiring Instrument Technician!

Are you an experienced Instrument Technician with a strong background in industrial instrumentation and process control systems? We are seeking skilled professionals to join our clients' workforce and support the installation, calibration, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation systems across a variety of industrial environments.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of field instrumentation, performing calibration and commissioning activities, troubleshooting instrumentation issues, and maintaining compliance with project specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with process control instrumentation, excellent technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Instrument Technician.
• Experience installing, calibrating, commissioning, and maintaining field instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, level, analytical, and vibration monitoring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, hook up drawings, termination diagrams, cable schedules, instrument datasheets, cause and effect matrices, and control system documentation.
• Experience performing instrument loop checks, point to point testing, functional testing, calibration, and commissioning activities.
• Strong knowledge of process control instrumentation, including transmitters, switches, control valves, positioners, actuators, analysers, and package equipment.
• Experience working with industrial communication protocols, including HART, PROFIBUS, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet/IP, and Profinet.
• Experience configuring, commissioning, and troubleshooting smart instruments using HART communicators, AMS Device Manager, and manufacturer specific software.
• Hands on experience using calibration and commissioning equipment, including Beamex, Druck, Fluke, Emerson AMS Trex, and pressure calibrators.
• Experience calibrating, stroke testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting control valves and valve positioners.
• Knowledge of plant shutdown systems, interlocks, permissives, and functional testing procedures.
• Ability to complete calibration records, commissioning documentation, red line mark ups, and as built drawings accurately.
• Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control, Electrical Instrumentation, or an equivalent Australian recognised trade qualification is mandatory.

Must-Have Requirements

• With a valid passport.
• Must either be exempt from the English language test or have passed an English test (IELTS or PTE Academic).
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive a four wheeled vehicle.
