Store Supervisor jobs

Job Description

· Supervise and monitor daily store activities including receiving, issuing, and stocking of materials.

· Ensure proper documentation for all inward and outward material movements.

· Oversee staff to maintain discipline, productivity, and safety in the store.

Inventory Management

· Maintain accurate stock records and conduct periodic stock counts.

· Monitor stock levels and inform the purchasing team for reordering.

· Prevent stock losses through proper storage, handling, and security.

· Documentation & Reporting

· Verify Delivery Notes (DN), Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and other documents.

· Maintain updated records in ERP/software (like Odoo, SAP, etc.) as per company process.

· Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports and submit to management.

Material Handling & Storage

· Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage of materials to optimize warehouse space.

· Implement First-In-First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) methods.

· Ensure safe handling of fragile and heavy items.

Coordination & Communication

· Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Accounts, and Logistics teams for smooth operations.

· Support in timely delivery of materials to customers or internal departments.

· Resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.

· Compliance & Safety

· Enforce company policies, store SOPs, and safety guidelines.

· Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of store premises.

· Train and guide store staff on proper work practices.
