Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Production Management: Plan and execute daily/weekly fabrication schedules based on project deadlines and engineering drawings.

· Quality Assurance: Inspect raw materials and finished facade assemblies against project specifications, ensuring tolerances and finishes meet ISO and facade standards.

· Team Supervision: Lead a team of fabricators, welders, and machine operators, allocating daily tasks and monitoring individual performance.

· Machinery Oversight: Ensure safe operation and maintenance of workshop machinery, such as CNC routers, press brakes, shearing machines, and welding equipment.

· Resource Allocation: Track inventory levels, coordinate material movements, and manage the issue of consumables to prevent production downtime.

· HSE Compliance: Enforce occupational health and safety protocols (PPE, machine guarding, fire safety) on the shop floor.

· Reporting: Maintain daily progress reports, timesheets, and material usage logs for the Production Manager.

Required Qualifications

· Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on experience in steel fabrication, specifically with curtain walls, cladding systems, or architectural metalwork. At least 2-3 years should be in a supervisory role.

· Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to read and interpret complex shop drawings, fabrication details, and structural layouts.

· Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or a relevant technical/vocational certification.

· Software Skills: Basic proficiency in using computers to track production orders; familiarity with AutoCAD or Tekla is a plus.

· Communication: Good command of English; proficiency in Hindi or Urdu is highly advantageous for managing diverse workshop teams.

· Local License: Valid UAE Driver's License is highly preferred for coordinating with site teams.
