Full job description

STEEL FIXER REQUIRED

  • Read and interpret construction drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and technical instructions
  • Cut and bend steel bars using manual or machine tools
  • Fix reinforcement steel in foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls
  • Tie rebar using binding wire and ensure proper spacing and alignment
  • Install spacers, chairs, and supports to maintain correct cover
  • Check levels, alignment, and positioning before concrete pouring
  • Coordinate with carpenters, masons, and supervisors
  • Ensure work is completed as per project specifications and deadlines
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
  • Follow all site safety procedures and use PPE properly

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Steel Fixer in construction projects
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and BBS
  • Good physical strength and stamina
  • Knowledge of rebar cutting, bending, and fixing techniques
  • Basic understanding of safety standards

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED2,200.00 per hour
