For our youngest athletes and beginners, our primary mission is simple: create a positive, unforgettable introduction to sports.

Role Overview
We are seeking a remarkably patient, warm, and energetic Grassroots Youth Basketball Coach. You will be the very first touchpoint many of our young athletes have with the sport. Your primary objective is not to run advanced tactical systems, but to ensure every child feels welcomed, has fun, learns the fundamentals, and ultimately falls in love with the game of basketball.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grassroots Coaching: Lead fun, high-energy, and highly encouraging practices for beginnersand young athletes (ages 4+).
  • Skill Development: Teach the absolute fundamentals of basketball (dribbling, passing, shootingmechanics, and basic motor skills) in a way that is accessible and engaging for children.
  • Multi-Location Leadership: Travel between various Hangtime locations across Dubai to leadbeginner sessions, bringing consistent energy and enthusiasm to every court.
  • Creating a Welcoming Environment: Foster a highly positive, safe, and inclusive atmospherewhere young kids feel comfortable making mistakes and learning.
  • Parental Engagement: Act as a friendly, approachable point of contact for parents, celebratingtheir children's small wins and communicating basic progress.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Proven experience working with young children (ages 4+) and absolute beginnersin a sports or educational setting.
  • Personality: Exceptional patience, a warm and welcoming demeanor, and the ability tomaintain high energy levels with young kids.
  • Coaching Philosophy: A deep understanding that for this age group, enjoyment,encouragement, and basic fundamental development come before competitive winning.
  • Logistical Flexibility: Willingness and ability to commute to different academy locationswithin Dubai.
  • Tech Literacy: Proficiency in using basic technology (smartphones, scheduling/communicationapps) to log attendance and communicate with staff.What We Offer
