About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage day-to-day store and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of materials, equipment, spare parts, and other inventory items.

The candidate should have strong inventory management and documentation skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with Procurement, Operations, Finance, Logistics, and other internal departments. Experience in the automotive, telematics, IoT, electronics, spare parts, or technical equipment industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store and inventory operations, ensuring smooth and efficient material handling and stock control.
• Receive incoming materials, products, equipment, spare parts, and other items and verify them against purchase orders, delivery notes, and related documents.
• Inspect received materials for quantity, specifications, condition, and any discrepancies or damages.
• Record and update all inventory receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments accurately in Tally and other applicable systems.
• Properly organize, label, and store inventory items to ensure easy identification and efficient utilization of storage space.
• Issue materials and equipment to authorized employees or departments based on approved requests and maintain proper supporting documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and identify items requiring replenishment to prevent stock-outs and operational delays.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with Tally records.
• Investigate and report discrepancies, damaged items, missing materials, or inventory variances to the concerned department.
• Prepare and maintain accurate stock statements, inventory reports, material issue records, receipt records, and other store-related documentation.
• Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers regarding pending deliveries, shortages, damaged materials, and replacement requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Finance, and other departments to ensure timely availability of required materials.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
• Monitor the condition, shelf life, and usability of inventory items wherever applicable.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe store environment.
• Maintain proper records of obsolete, damaged, excess, or slow-moving inventory and support the disposal or replacement process as instructed.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory control, material handling, documentation, and store operations.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Storekeeping, Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, or a similar role.
• Mandatory hands-on knowledge and working experience in Tally.
• Ability to use Tally for stock/inventory management, recording transactions, maintaining item records, and generating basic inventory reports.
• Good knowledge of inventory control, stock management, material handling, and warehouse procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems will be an added advantage.
• Experience in the Automotive, Telematics, IoT, Electronics, Spare Parts, or Technical Equipment sector will be an advantage.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining stock records.
• Ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
• Basic knowledge of workplace health, safety, and warehouse practices.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Training

• Comprehensive training on company products, internal systems, inventory procedures, and store operations will be provided.
• Training on company-specific inventory documentation, stock control procedures, and safety requirements will also be provided.
