JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking a Specialist Neurosurgeon to join our multidisciplinary team in UAE. The role will work closely under Consultants, supporting Trauma On-Calls, Inpatient care and OPD services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Key Clinical Responsibilities

Support the Consultant Neurosurgeon in Trauma & Emergency On-Call services.

Assess and manage neurosurgical emergencies and trauma patients.

Provide inpatient neurosurgical care, including pre- and post-operative management.

Conduct routine OPD consultations and follow-up of neurosurgical patients.

Assist in surgical procedures and provide perioperative support as required.

Participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions and ensure high standards of patient safety and care.

Neurotrauma & emergency neurosurgery

Head injury and traumatic brain injury management

Spine and spinal trauma

Emergency neurosurgical assessment

Inpatient and post-operative neurosurgical care

Routine neurosurgical OPD and follow-up

Experience supporting a high-volume Neurosurgery / Trauma service

Qualification, Experience & Skills:
Medical Degree with recognized Specialist qualification in Neurosurgery.

DHA eligibility / eligibility for DHA Specialist licensing is essential.

6-8 years post-specialty experience as a Specialist Neurosurgeon.

Experience in a busy hospital environment is essential, with exposure to emergency and trauma cases.

Ability to support Neurosurgery Trauma On-Calls, emergency assessments and inpatient management.

Experience in IP care, post-operative management and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to independently manage routine OPD consultations.

Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and communication skills.

Candidates with experience in a high-volume tertiary or multispecialty hospital environment are preferred.
