Biomedical Engineer

Job Summary:
The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for the design, maintenance, calibration, and technical support of medical devices and healthcare engineering systems. The role ensures that all equipment meets safety standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency requirements within clinical and healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain medical devices and biomedical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of healthcare systems.
• Ensure compliance with international biomedical engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize equipment performance and usability.
• Document service reports, maintenance logs, and technical procedures.
• Support calibration and validation of diagnostic and therapeutic devices.
• Assist in procurement evaluation and technical assessment of new medical technologies.
• Provide technical training and guidance to hospital or clinic staff when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of medical device systems and healthcare technology.
• Experience in equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards in medical devices.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in clinical or industrial engineering environments.

Pay: Up to AED730,000.00 per year
